Patna News: After leading a roadshow in Patna on Sunday night, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold three election rallies in different parts of Bihar on Monday. The prime minister’s first official visit to the state capital since the historic Gandhi Maidan rally in March 2009 is this one. A few years ago, he paid an official visit to this place for an event organized by the Bihar Assembly.
Welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi
“Common people of Patna will welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi. For the first time, a Prime Minister is going to do a roadshow in Patna. He is a ‘Fakir’. He says he is a ‘Fakir’ today and will be a ‘Fakir’ in future as well,” Samrat Choudhary, the BJP leader and deputy chief minister of Bihar, commented on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s planned roadshow in Patna today.
SSP Rajeev Mishra Assures Foolproof Arrangements
All throughout the city, there are foolproof security arrangements in place. Drone operations will be completely prohibited in all localities, and vehicle traffic on the roadshow route will be suspended, Senior Superintendent of Police Rajeev Mishra told PTI.
The roadshow will go through populated areas like Fraser Road, Exhibition Road, Kadam Kuan, and Sahitya Sammelan before ending at Udyog Bhavan near Gandhi Maidan. It will start at the Income Tax office roundabout, which is a few hundred meters from the state BJP headquarters.
Barricades Line Road for PM Modi’s Patna Roadshow
Along the route, barricades have been placed on both sides of the road, and businesses, which are numerous, are probably going to stay closed. The SSP has also announced that forces will be stationed on the rooftops of numerous buildings to maintain a close watch.
