PM E-Bus Sewa: The Central Government has announced ten thousand electronic buses in the city under the PM E-Bus Sewa scheme. These electronic buses will run across 100 cities. The entire scheme has been shaped in a budget of 57,613 crores. In this initiative, 100 cities will be chosen out of 169 cities on a challenge way. Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said that, out of the 57, 613 crores, 20000 crore will be given by the Central Government. This scheme will benefit the cities which have a population of over 3 lakh people.
Artists will get Loans up to 2 lakh rupees in Vishwakarma Yojana
In the new initiative, over 10,000 E-Buses on the Public Private Partnership Model will be done. The new project will give support to the Bus operations for over 10 years from now. The centre has also given its nod for the Vishwakarma Yojana . Government is aiming to encourage Pottery making, construction, tailoring and craftsmenship etc. The artists will be getting up to 2 lakh loan from the government to support their work under this scheme.
Centre approved the extension of Digital India Program
Govt will give stipend of Rs 500 to people who will get help from this initiative. The artists will be given 15000 Rs to buy tools for their crafts and loan of Rs 1lakh rupees under the Vishwakarma scheme. Govt has also approved the Digital India Program with an expenditure of over 14 crores.
