PM Modi 100 Days: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a rally in Ahmedabad, accused the Opposition of repeatedly insulting him during the first 100 days of the BJP-led NDA government’s third term. Modi stated that despite the insults, he remained focused on completing the government’s agenda.
Highlights progress and launches major development projects in Ahmedabad
Taking office for a record third term on June 9, 2024, the Modi government marks its 100th day on September 17, coinciding with the Prime Minister’s birthday. Speaking at the rally after laying the foundation stones for various development projects, PM Modi said, “In the first 100 days of my third term, they [the Opposition] made fun of me and insulted me. But I chose not to respond to any of their insults and ensured that the government’s agenda for 100 days was completed.”
He further accused some opposition leaders of attempting to divide the country by attacking its unity and integrity, asserting that he would not allow such efforts to succeed.
Launch of Namo Bharat Rapid Rail
Among the key projects highlighted was India’s first ‘Vande Metro,’ recently renamed Namo Bharat Rapid Rail, which runs between Ahmedabad and Bhuj. PM Modi emphasized the convenience the rapid rail will bring to middle-class families, facilitating smooth travel between cities. “Namo Bharat Rapid Rail is going to provide significant convenience to our middle-class families who travel from one city to another in the country every day,” he added.
In addition to the rapid rail, PM Modi noted that over the last 100 days, dozens of projects related to rail, road, ports, airports, and metro infrastructure have been approved and launched, further boosting connectivity across Gujarat and the nation.
The Prime Minister’s rally in Ahmedabad was marked by the inauguration of several development projects aimed at improving infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life in the state.
