Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman highlighted the economic benefits of the rooftop solar initiative during the interim budget for 2024-25. With potential savings of ₹15,000 annually, households can significantly reduce their power bills while contributing to environmental conservation. Additionally, the scheme is poised to generate employment opportunities, further bolstering India’s economic growth trajectory.
