Prime Minister Narendra Modi Friday reached Chhattisgarh’s Raipur. In Raipur, he will be inaugurating multiple projects worth around Rs 7,000 crore. After his short trip to Chattisgarh, the Prime Minister will then proceed to UP’s Gorakhpur for the centenary celebrations of the Gita Press. Aside from taking part in the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of Gita Press, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to inaugurate multiple projects in Uttar Pradesh.
Bhupesh Baghel welcomes PM Modi
Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel welcomed PM Modi with folded hands as the Prime Minister landed in the capital city. Along with Baghel, Chhattisgarh’s governor Biswabhushan Harichandan was also present on the occasion. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Raipur, Chhattisgarh today. He was received by Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan and CM Bhupesh Baghel,” ANI said in a tweet.
The Chhattisgarh CM also handed over a few presents to PM Modi in a heartwarming gesture. In Raipur, PM Modi also addressed a rally as he laid the foundation of new projects.

PM Modi will also visit two districts of Uttar Pradesh where he will also address a meeting of BJP workers in Wajidpur. PM Modi is reportedly to hold ‘tiffin pe charkha’ with party workers. PM Modi will also visit Gorakhpur, which is also Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s home constituency. The Prime Minister will attend the closing ceremony of Gita Press which was recently conferred with the Gandhi Peace Prize for 2021. He will also flag off the Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express from Platform number 1 at Gorakhpur railway station.
