With Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit in the state on Saturday, the BJP plans to step up its campaign blitzkrieg in Karnataka. According to PTI, PM Modi would attend two roadshows in addition to six public engagements during his two-day tour.
The 224-seat Karnataka assembly election will take place on May 10 and the results will be tallied on May 13. PM Modi has been to Karnataka nine times since February of this year.
Modi is expected to respond to Kharge’s statement about him as “venomous snake
PM Modi is expected to respond to Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement about him as a “venomous snake” during his visit. He later attempted to clarify that his comments were directed at the ruling BJP rather than the prime minister when a dispute broke out.
According to his schedule, Modi will take a special aircraft on a Saturday early flight from Delhi to the airport in Bidar.
Then, at 11 am, he will take helicopter to Humnabad in the Bidar district to address a public gathering.
Following the meeting, Modi will take a flight to Vijayapura, where he will speak to a crowd of people at 1 pm. Then, at around 2:45 pm, he will take a flight to Kudachi in the Belagavi district and address the electorate there.
The Prime Minister will take a flight to Bengaluru in the evening to host a road show in Bengaluru North.
After remaining in Bengaluru, Modi will take a Sunday morning flight to Kolar, where he will speak to the public at 11:30 a.m. At 1:30 pm, he will then travel to Channapatna in the Ramanagara district.
Modi will also stop at the Hassan district temple town of Belur during his journey. Belur is preparing an significant pandal for PM Modi’s public speech.
Millions of people will be in attendance in order to see and hear the Prime Minister. Over two lakh people are anticipated to attend the public meeting, BJP workers in charge of making arrangements for the Prime Minister’s programme told ANI.
The following day, PM Modi will undertake a roadshow in Mysuru. He would take a flight from Mysuru to Delhi after the function.
