Subsequently, Krishna Kumar, a 20-year-old BJP worker hailing from Ghazipur, was arrested for interrogation after he managed to approach within 20 meters of the Prime Minister’s convoy and was promptly intercepted by police and security personnel. A police official stated, “Krishna Kumar, son of Bharat Kumar, is a senior BJP worker. He is mentally disturbed and wanted to meet PM Modi.”

During the interrogation of the young man involved in the incident that occurred late Saturday evening, he identified himself as a resident of Ghazipur district and claimed to be a BJP worker with aspirations to join the army. He explained that his purpose in approaching the Prime Minister’s convoy was to seek an exemption due to having previously failed the medical test, despite passing the physical test for army recruitment.

Notably, the police recovered a file containing his documents during his arrest, and he also possessed an ID card related to BJP President JP Nadda’s program, providing credibility to his claim of being a BJP worker. Currently, he is undergoing further interrogation.
