India Rolls Out Red Carpet for Semiconductor Industry; PM Modi Announces 50 Percent Financial Aid for Manufacturing Facilities

PM Modi Gujarat Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Friday that his administration has put out the red carpet for the semiconductor industry and that technology companies will receive 50% financial help for establishing semiconductor manufacturing facilities in the nation. Speaking after opening the Semicon India 2023 conference in Gandhinagar, Modi asserted that India is creating a complete ecosystem to support the expansion of the semiconductor sector there. AMD declared at the beginning of the ongoing Semicon India 2023 event in Gandhinagar’s Mahatma Mandir that it will invest 400 million US dollars in India in the coming days. An American semiconductor business with the name of AMD. AMD has announced a $400 million investment in India’s semiconductor industry. The AMD company will concentrate on R&D in India.
