Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday launched a scathing attack on the BJP on the 10th foundation day of his Aam Aadmi Party. Kejriwal claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself was monitoring the case registered against Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. He also said that PM Modi had also met the directors of CBI and ED in this regard.
Kejriwal said, “The Prime Minister was personally monitoring the case and he used to meet the CBI and ED chiefs and instruct them to do anything to find evidence against Sisodia. But they did not find anything against Sisodia in the investigation.”
Kejriwal said – Clean chit to Sisodia
The AAP convenor also claimed that the CBI has filed a charge sheet in the liquor policy case and Manish Sisodia’s name is nowhere mentioned in it. In a way, CBI has given clean chit to Sisodia. Kejriwal said around 800 officers were working on the case.
He said, “He could not find anything against Manish Sisodia. If they would have found even the slightest evidence against Sisodia in the case, they would have arrested him.”
Regarding the raids conducted by the central agencies, Kejriwal said that more than 500 places belonging to Sisodia were raided, walls were broken, mattresses were torn, bank lockers were checked, but no cash was found.
Kejriwal claims he is staunch honest leader
Delhi CM said that he can proudly say that I am a staunch honest leader. Arvind Kejriwal asserted that no other politician in this country can stand before the people and say that he is scrupulously honest.
Aam Aadmi Party was founded by Kejriwal on 26 November 2012. He decided to form the party on this day as the Constitution of India was adopted on this day in 1949.
Kejriwal tweeted and said, ‘Aam Aadmi Party was established 10 years ago on this day. In these 10 years, with the immense love of the public and the efforts of the workers, the party created many histories in Indian politics.’
