PM Modi J&K Rally: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a frenetic public meeting in Jammu, indicating the BJP‘s ambitions as the third phase of the Assembly polls approached, while voting is scheduled for October 1. Here, PM Modi insisted that the party was poised to form its first government with a full majority in Jammu and Kashmir, underlining the point that the “heavy voting” in the initial phases “reflects a strong mandate from the people”.

Celebrating Democratic Participation in Jammu and Kashmir

In this regard, the Prime Minister’s statements come even at the end of the campaigning period for this critical phase of the elections, with 40 constituencies going to the polls. Results are expected to be declared on October 8. PM Modi confidently declared that people in Jammu and Kashmir have shown that they wanted the BJP, considering the recent voter turnout as a clear cut indication of public sentiment.

Underlining the first phase of elections, wherein a whopping 60.21 percent voter turnout was recorded during this last seven elections, PM Modi congratulated the citizens who had been actively participating in the democratic processes. Such wonderful turnout reflects the increasing political awareness and participation at the grass-root level, an important change within the politics of that region.

During the Vijay Sankalp rally at MA Stadium in Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this election is to choose the future of Jammu and Kashmir. Today is also the birth anniversary of martyr Veer Sardar Bhagat Singh. I pay my respectful tribute to Bhagat Singh ji, the inspiration of crores of youth of the country.

PM Modi said that this meeting in Jammu is my last meeting of this assembly election. I have had the opportunity to visit different parts of Jammu and Kashmir in the past weeks. Wherever I went, there was unprecedented enthusiasm for BJP.

Speaking at the rally on the occasion, PM Modi went on to find fault with Rahul Gandhi, a Congress leader, for his comments he made when heading to the United States, referring to him as insulting their faith when Gandhi said that their ‘devi-devta’ are not gods. “The Congress heir went abroad and said that our ‘devi-devta’ are not gods. It is an insult to our faith.”

According to PM Modi, violence, separatism, and terrorism are not what the people of Jammu and Kashmir want. Here, people desire prosperity and peace. Everyone in this place wants their kids to have excellent futures. And this is why the people here want the BJP to form government.

The three families of the Congress, NC, and PDP have become too much for the people of Jammu & Kashmir. The public does not want to return to the previous system of job discrimination and corruption. The people residing in Jammu and Kashmir have had enough of terrorism, secession, and violence. Here, people desire tranquility.

These rallies have been held across the region, and one in Doda turned out to be a big affair along with others in Srinagar and Katra. Security for these visits has been staged considerably to ensure the ease of huge crowds that will throng to meet him. The BJP’s strategizing done at this juncture and PM Modi’s fervent appeals bring forward the determination of the party to achieve a significant victory in Jammu and Kashmir.
