German singer Cassandra Mae Spittmann marked the occasion uniquely by sharing a video on her Instagram of her rendition of Mahatma Gandhi’s favourite bhajan, ‘Vaishnava Jana To.’ Her heartfelt performance resonated with many, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who praised her amidst the widespread admiration.

In the video, the German singer elegantly dressed in a pink saree and delivered a flawless rendition of Mahatma Gandhi’s beloved bhajan, ‘Vaishnava Jana To.’ Cassandra’s performance was posted on her official Instagram account just a day ago.
Using his X (formerly Twitter) account, the Prime Minister shared the viral video, praising CassMae’s singing talent. He also wrote, “Gandhi Ji’s thoughts strike a chord with people all around the world! Do hear this soulful rendition of “Vaishnava Jana To” sung by CassMae, whom I had recently mentioned during #MannKiBaat. She has shared it on her Instagram page.”
PM Modi‘s appreciative post quickly gained widespread attention, with people deeply admiring the singer’s homage to Gandhi ji.
