Alleged Insult to PV Narasimha Rao by Congress
Speaking from the stage in Karimnagar, Telangana, Prime Minister Modi claimed that Congress had insulted former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao because of this “family first” policy. According to PM Modi, they wouldn’t let his body into the Congress office even after he passed away. In recognition of PV Narasimha Rao, the BJP-NDA government awarded him the Bharat Ratna.
Drawing Parallels from Telangana to Delhi
Speaking at a public gathering in Karimnagar, Telangana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi states, “From Telangana to Delhi, there is a lot of discussion about ‘double R’ (RR) tax. A film named ‘RRR’ was released a few days back in the Telugu language, someone told me that ‘RR’ has left behind ‘RRR’ in the collection. It is reported that ‘RRR’ has a lifetime collection of over Rs 1000 cr, but this much money is just a few days collection of ‘RR’ tax.”
