On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the AIIMS in Guwahati and introduce development initiatives worth Rs 14,300 crore in Assam.
On Friday at noon, PM Modi will launch three additional hospitals in the northeastern state in addition to the state’s first AIIMS.
In addition to other projects, the Prime Minister will also officially kick off the beautifying of Rang Ghar in Sivasaga and lay the cornerstone for a bridge across the Brahmaputra connecting Palashbari and Sualkuchi.
Furthermore, he would hand out Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) cards to qualified beneficiaries in order to launch the “Aapke Dwar Ayushman” campaign and build the foundation for the Assam Advanced Health Care Innovation Institute (AAHII).
After that, at roughly 2.15 pm, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the event honoring the Gauhati High Court’s platinum jubilee at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra in Guwahati.
