PM Modi to unveil projects worth Rs 8,000 crore in Bharuch & Jamnagar today

At a rally today in Amod town, Bharuch district, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate and lay the foundation stone for projects worth over Rs 8,000 crore.

The districts of Bharuch and Jamnagar will host these projects. In Ahmedabad, PM Modi will also launch Phase 1 of the Modi Shaikshanik Sankul, an educational complex for underprivileged youngsters. The project will assist in providing resources for pupils’ overall growth.

The Prime Minister’s current visit to Gujarat, which is on its second day, has significantly boosted the BJP’s campaign for the state’s assembly elections.

PM Modi will lay the cornerstone for Jambusar’s Bulk Drug Park to make the pharmaceutical industry “Aatmanirbhar” (self-reliant). Bulk pharmaceuticals made up more than 60% of all pharmaceutical imports in 2021–2022.

The Deep Sea Pipeline Project, which will assist in the discharge of treated effluent from industrial estates, will also have its foundation stone laid by the prime minister in Dahej.

Phase I of the Ankleshwar Airport and the construction of multilevel industrial sheds at Ankleshwar and Panoli, which will support the MSME sector, are other projects whose foundation stones will be placed by the prime minister.

“The Prime Minister will perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the development of multiple industrial parks. These include four tribal industrial parks which will come up in Valia (Bharuch), Amirgadh (Banaskantha), Chakaliya (Dahod), and Vanar (Chhota Udaipur); an agro-food park at Mudetha (Banaskantha); a seafood park at Kakwadi Danti (Valsad); and an MSME park at Khandivav (Mahisagar),” the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.
