PM Modi: On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to distribute approximately 51,000 appointment letters to recently recruited government department employees through a video conferencing event.
Recruits to work in different govt departments
According to the Prime Minister‘s Office (PMO), the ‘Rozgar Mela’ will take place at 46 different locations throughout the country. The incoming workforce will be integrated into numerous ministries and departments, encompassing entities such as the Department of Posts, the Indian Audit & Accounts Department, the Department of Atomic Energy, the Department of Revenue, the Department of Higher Education, the Ministry of Defence, and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, among others.
The official statement read, “The newly inducted appointees are also getting an opportunity to train themselves through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module on iGOT Karmayogi portal, where more than 680 e-learning courses have been made available for ‘anywhere any device’ learning format.”
Over 6 lakh appointment letter issued
As of August 28, appointment letters were issued to over 550,000 individuals through eight employment fairs. As of today, September 26, joining letters have been provided to over 600,000 young individuals. The event held recently marked the ninth employment fair in this series.
The inception of the Rozgar Mela initiative dates back to October 22 of the preceding year when PM Modi inaugurated the campaign with the ambitious objective of creating one million government job opportunities.
