Prime Minister Narendra Modi today stopped his convoy to give way to an ambulance in his home state of Gujarat. PM Modi was going from Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar on Friday.
When Modi saw an ambulance stopped on a road, he immediately instructed his security personnel to stop his convoy and let the ambulance pass. During this, the vehicles of his convoy stopped for some time. The video of this incident is going viral on social media. Modi was on his way to Gandhinagar after the meeting in Ahmedabad.
PM Modi today flagged off the Vande Bharat Express train running between Gandhinagar and Mumbai. They boarded this train from Gandhinagar to Ahmedabad’s Kalupur station.
In a program after flagging off the new Vande Bharat Express train and inaugurating the first phase of Ahmedabad Metro Rail, PM Modi said that new cities are being built in the country which are in line with the global trade demand. Along with this, the focus is being on the improvement and expansion of old cities.
He emphasized on the development of twin cities in the country on the lines of Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad. A better example of how the twin cities are developed are Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad. New York-New Jersey is often discussed in such cities, so how can India be left behind.
The Prime Minister said that the Vande Bharat train started between Ahmedabad and Mumbai will also make travel between the two big cities of the country comfortable and will also reduce the distance from eight hours to five and a half hours. Shatabdi train also takes up to six to seven hours, but Vande Bharat will reach Mumbai from Ahmedabad in five and a half hours.
