PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will continue his campaign on Saturday by speaking at election rallies in Jharkhand and Bihar before the third phase of the Lok Sabha polls. PM Modi attacked the Congress last night, claiming that the party wants to “provide reservations to Muslims” and do away with SC/ST/OBC quotas. Speaking at a rally in Chaibasa, Jharkhand, he declared that if the Congress takes power at the center, it will plunder without restraint.
Nomination Papers Submitted
Congressman Rahul Gandhi submitted his nomination papers from the Rae Bareli constituency in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, barely an hour before the Lok Sabha seat was up for grabs. In what he described as a struggle against injustice, he wrote on X, “Amethi and Rae Bareli are no different for me, both are family,” and asked for their “love and blessings.” In 2019, Gandhi lost to Smriti Irani of the BJP in the nearby Amethi constituency.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee criticized the ruling BJP and stated that the party should concentrate on this “before talking about Sandeshkhali” the day after the Trinamool Congress (TMC) brought attention to a case in which a woman contractual staffer at the Raj Bhavan accused West Bengal Governor C V Ananda Bose of sexual harassment. “It’s a shame, my heart bleeds for the woman who was molested at Raj Bhavan,” she continued during a state election rally.
PM Modi’s Personal Reflections
Addressing a public rally PM Modi says, “I have lived in poverty. I know how troublesome the life of a poor is. All the schemes launched in the last 10 years are inspired by my life experiences. When I meet the beneficiaries, I get tears of joy. These tears can only be understood by those who have seen poverty and struggle. The one who never saw his mother coughing due to smoke, cannot understand these tears… The Shehzade of Congress is searching for his happiness in Modi’s tears… These people are disappointed and hopeless…”
