Mann Ki Baat: After taking the oath of office for the third time, PM Modi spoke on a variety of topics and addressed his fellow citizens in his first Mann Ki Baat radio show. It should be noted that this was PM Modi’s 111th edition of Mann Ki Baat. As you may recall, PM Modi declared on the Mann Ki Baat show that “A special campaign named ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ has been started this year on World Environment Day.”

“I have also planted a tree in the name of my mother and have appealed to all the countrymen to also plant a tree with or in the name of their mothers,” PM Modi said. During the Mann Ki Baat program, PM Modi said, “This month the whole world celebrated the 10th Yoga Day with full zeal and enthusiasm. I also participated in the yoga program organized in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. In Kashmir, along with the youth, sisters and daughters also participated enthusiastically.”

PM Modi Highlights Global Success of Araku Coffee in Mann Ki Baat

He further added that “India has a lot of products which are in great demand across the world and when we see a local product of India going global, it is natural to feel proud. One such product is Araku coffee. Araku coffee is produced in large quantities in Alluri Sita Rama Raju district of Andhra Pradesh. It is known for its rich taste and aroma.”

He added, “Around 1.5 lakh tribal families are involved in the cultivation of Araku coffee. I remember once I had the opportunity to taste it with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu garu in Visakhapatnam. This coffee has received many global awards. This coffee was also popular at the G20 summit held in Delhi”.

PM Modi Anticipates Paris Olympics

PM Modi said that “By this time next month, the Paris Olympics will start. I am sure all of you too would be waiting to cheer for the Indian players in the Olympic Games. The performance of our players in Tokyo won the heart of every Indian. Since the Tokyo Olympics, our athletes have been preparing for the Paris Olympics with all their heart and soul.”

Pm Modi said, “If we put all the players together, they have participated in about 900 international competitions. You will get to see some things for the first time in the Paris Olympics. The talent of our players is coming to the fore in shooting. Both men’s and women’s teams have qualified in table tennis. Our shooter daughters are also included in the Indian shotgun team”.
