PM Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi publicly shared his opinions on a wide range of national issues in a special interview with Times Now Navarbharat during the Lok Sabha elections of 2024. PM Modi also addressed the Muslim community specifically during this. He declared, “You folks ought to consider why it was that during the Congress era, you folks did not reap the rewards of government programs. Gujarat experienced riots seven times out of ten, but not a single riot has occurred there since 2002.”

After that PM Modi said, “I have never come on these topics before. I am telling the Muslim community. I am telling their educated people to introspect. Imagine, the country is progressing so much if there is lack in your society. If you feel that, why did you not get the benefit of the government’s arrangements? Have you become a victim of this plight in your mind? That we will put you in power, we will remove you, in that you are spoiling the future of your children.”
Recognition of Changing Dynamics in Muslim Society
PM Modi said that “Muslim society is changing in the world, today I go to Gulf countries, I personally get so much respect and India also gets it. They all feel that there is opposition against us here, Saudi In Arabia, Yoga is a subject of official syllabus. If I talk about Yoga, you will be considered anti-Muslim. When I go to Gulf countries, all the rich people will definitely sit with me on the subject of Yoga. They ask, Modi ji, what to do, how to do it if we want to take official training.”
Addressing the Polarization of Yoga
During the conversation, PM Modi said, “Now Yoga has been made Hindu-Muslim here, now whatever they are doing, I urge the Muslim community to at least think about the lives of their children, their own. Think about the future. I don’t want any society to live like a bonded labourer. Secondly, if 50 people start sitting and standing in the BJP office. Keep sitting for days, will they throw you out? now see what is going on, who will throw you out? occupy the BJP office, who will stop you?”
