PM Narendra Modi Mumbai Visit: PM Narendra Modi to visit Mumbai on July 13 The prime minister is likely to inaugurate infrastructure projects costing more than Rs 29,400 crore. These include the new platforms at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Station and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus. In Mumbai, after arrival, the prime minister is scheduled to start his tour from NESCO Exhibition Center and then proceed to visit the INC Secretariat at Bandra Kurla Complex.
Official Announcement of PM Modi’s Visit
According to an official government release by the Prime Minister’s Office, PM Modi will pay a visit on Saturday. It added that key developmental projects slated for launching on this day have been put in his schedule.
“At around 5:30 pm, the Prime Minister will reach NESCO Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai, where he will launch, dedicate to the nation and lay the foundation stone for multiple projects related to the road, railways and ports sector worth more than Rs 29,400 crore,” the PMO said in a press release.
PM Modi’s Schedule at NESCO Exhibition Centre
According to the schedule, PM Modi will grace a function at NESCO Exhibition Centre in Goregaon at 5.30 pm on July 13 for the launch of developmental projects related to transportation connectivity in Mumbai. He would also launch various railway, road and ports development projects aimed to enhance transportation connectivity. Today PM Modi is launching projects pertaining to railways, roads and ports development. Besides, PM Modi will also launch the Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana meant for skill enhancement in Mumbai today.
PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for the Thane-Borivali Tunnel Project worth ₹16,600 crore during his visit. The tube tunnels passing under Sanjay Gandhi National Park will link Western Express Highway at Borivali directly with Ghodbunder Road in Thane, said Officials. The 11.8 km long Borivali-Thane Link Road will reduce the distance from Thane to Borivali by 12 km and cut travel time by an hour.
Prime Minister’s Attendance at Ambani Event
PM Modi is going to launch the Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana with an outlay of ₹ 5,600 crore for tacking youth unemployment and providing opportunities for skill enhancement to people in the age bracket of 18-30 years. Besides Indians celebs, the Ambanis have also invited international celebrities as well as politicians. According to the media report, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also expected to grace the event to bless the couple.
