PM Narendra Modi: Once more, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has won the title of most popular leader in the world. According to their approval ratings, world leaders have been named by World of Statistics. On a list that also includes names like Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, US President Joe Biden, UK PM Rishi Sunak, and Mexican PM Andres Lopez, among others, PM Modi’s name comes in first place.
PM Narendra Modi Claims 7th Place with 77% Approval Rating
PM Narendra Modi ranks seventh on the list of the most popular international leaders with a 77% approval rating. Andres Lopez, the Mexican prime minister, is ranked second with a popularity rating of 59%. Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada, is rated 42% favourably, placing him eighth on the list. With a 40% popularity rating, US President Joe Biden is ranked a distant ninth among the most popular foreign leaders. Olaf Scholz, the chancellor of Germany, is ranked 12th on the list with an approval rating of 33%, while Rishi Sunak, the prime minister of the United Kingdom of Indian descent, is ranked 15th with an approval rating of 31%, which is less popular than PM Narendra Modi by 50%.
PM Narendra Modi’s Previous Triumph
PM Narendra Modi has previously attained the title of most popular leader in the world. In June 2023, PM Narendra Modi was ranked as the most popular leader in the world by Morning Consult, which routinely publishes the names of the most popular leaders worldwide. 22 world leaders were surveyed for the poll’s rankings. “The latest approval ratings are based on data collected from March 22-28, 2023. Approval ratings are based on a seven-day moving average of adult residents in each country, with sample sizes varying by country,” the ratings had then said.
