Application Process and Property Card under PM Swamitva Yojana
The PM Swamitva Yojana allows for an easy application process for the property card. On 11th October 2020, Prime Minister Modi launched the property card through a video conferencing session. In this initiative, about one lakh citizens of India were provided a link on their mobiles, enabling them to download their digital property card with a simple click.
PM Swamitva Yojana: Impact and Future Prospects
The initial implementation of the property card under the scheme saw the involvement of 763 villages across various states, including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Uttarakhand. This allowed approximately 1.32 lakh citizens to download their digital property records.
