‘PM Trudeau Has Divided…,’ Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu Lambasts Canadian PM Over Khalistani Attack on Hindu Temple

Bittu claimed that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s administration has created divisions within religious communities, impacting both Hindus and Sikhs.

India Canada Relation: Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu has voiced strong criticism of the Canadian government following reports of attacks on Hindu temples in Canada. Bittu claimed that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s administration has created divisions within religious communities, impacting both Hindus and Sikhs. He alleged that pro-Khalistani groups have disrupted public peace outside religious sites during the festive season, with what he suggested was the passive support of Canadian police.

India Prepared to Act Against Canada’s Alleged Inaction

In a firm stance, Bittu warned that India would take international measures to address Canada’s alleged inaction on this issue. “This will not be tolerated,” he said, emphasizing that the government of India is prepared to approach global platforms to ensure that religious harmony is upheld and that the Indian diaspora is protected.

Allegations of Financial Support for Pro-Khalistani Groups

Bittu further alleged that individuals raising Khalistani slogans are receiving financial backing to promote their agenda. He accused the Canadian government of indirectly supporting these groups, creating an environment that threatens both the security and unity of diverse religious communities in Canada. He also called on the international community to take notice of Canada’s handling of pro-Khalistani elements and its impact on Indian-origin communities.

Bittu’s comments reflect a growing tension between the two nations over issues of security, religious tolerance, and the role of foreign powers in supporting anti-India sentiments.
