Praveen Nettaru murder case: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet against 20 accused with links to the banned radical outfit, Popular Front of India (PFI), in Praveen Nettaru murder case. Praveen was killed on July 26, 2022 in full public view.
NIA investigations revealed that Nettaru’s killing was part of the PFI’s agenda to create terror, communal hatred and unrest in society and to establish Islamic Rule by 2047.
Killer squads formed
PFI formed secret teams called killer squads to eliminate its ‘perceived enemies’ and targets. Team members received training in attack and surveillance technique. They were also given arms and were trained to assault or kill identified targets.
