The government has successfully passed the Women’s Reservation Bill in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. This bill gives a 33% quota to women in the parliament. Everyone is praising this step and hailing the decision of the government. Bollywood actresses are continuously praising the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the determination of his government to implement the Women’s Reservation Bill in the parliament. Now, Priyanka Chopra also praised the Women’s Reservation Bill by taking on her Instagram account and she called it ‘a step in the right direction.’

Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram stories to praise the bill. She shared a screenshot of a news article that features a picture of the parliament. The actress wrote, “Inspiring a new age with this historic milestone. The passing of the women’s reservation bill – “Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’ is indeed a step in the right direction, but the crucial next phase is its swift and effective implementation. Here’s to an India that truly supports and empowers its women!”

For the unversed, Bollywood actresses including Kangana Ranaut, Esha Gupta, Tamannaah Bhatia, Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Bindra and others visited the parliament and praised the women’s reservation bill.
