Radhika Khera: Congress leader Radhika Khera resigned from the party’s primary membership on Sunday, dealing a severe blow to the grand old party.
Sacred Pilgrimage to Ayodhya
On her resignation from Congress, Radhika Khera said, “Shri Ayodhya Dham, the birthplace of Ram Lalla, is a very sacred place for all of us and I could not stop myself from going there. But I had never thought in my life that I would have to face so much opposition for visiting there. I was misbehaved with in the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress office, I was pushed there and locked in the room.”
She added that “I kept on screaming and pleading, from the smallest to the biggest leadership, but I did not get justice… Today I have resigned from my party post and primary membership, but I have full faith that Ram Lalla will definitely give me justice…”

In her resignation letter, Radhika Said, “It is an established truth since ancient times that those who support religion have been opposed. Examples of this range from Hiranyakashipu to Ravana and Kansa. At present, some people are opposing those who take the name of Lord Shri Ram in the same way. For every Hindu, the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram holds great significance with its sanctity and while every Hindu considers his life successful just by seeing Ram Lalla, some people are opposing it”.
She added that “The party to which I have given more than 22 years of my life, where I worked with full honesty from NSUI to AICC’s media department, today I have to face such intense opposition because I couldn’t stop myself from visiting Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. The opposition to this noble work of mine reached such a level that justice was denied to me in the incident that happened to me in the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress office”.
Defeated Devotion
She conclude, “I have always fought for the justice of others from every platform, but when it came to my own justice, I found myself defeated in the party. Being a devotee of Lord Shri Ram and a woman, I am deeply hurt. Hurt by the fact that I did not get justice even after repeatedly informing all the top leaders of the party, I have taken this step today.”
