Rahul Gandhi: Congress is jubilant over its performance in by-elections held in 13 assembly seats in seven states of the country. Lending their reactions to this, LoP Rahul Gandhi said, “The result of the by-elections to 7 different states has brought it clear that the web of fear and confusion spread by the BJP has been broken. Every section including farmers, youth, labourers, businessmen as well as working professionals expressed their desire to establish a regime of justice and equality by washing out dictatorship.”
People stand with India Alliance
He said that for the betterment of their lives and protection of the Constitution, people are completely standing with the India Alliance. The India Alliance captured 10 seats in the by-polls held on 13 seats. The BJP could win only two seats.
Mallikarjun Kharge’s Reflections
Commenting on this better performance of India Alliance and Congress in the by-poll, Party President Mallikarjun Kharge said this result is strong proof of the falling political credibility of Modi-Shah. He posted on Instagram and said, “We bow down to the public for the positive results of the assembly by-elections. I thank and thank them from the bottom of my heart for wherever they voted for the Congress party candidates.”

The Congress National President said, “We salute all the Congress workers for their hard work and efforts in adverse circumstances. This victory in the by-election shows that the public has now completely rejected the arrogance, misgovernance and negative politics of the BJP.”
India alliance got support – Priyanka Gandhi
Priyanka Gandhi, the Congress General Secretary, expressed her gratitude by saying, “In the by-polls conducted on 13 seats in seven states, people of the country have given their support to the India alliance. People of Devbhoomi Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand have placed their trust in the Congress. Many congratulations to all the winning candidates of the Congress and India alliance.” Launching a scathing attack on the BJP, he struck back, saying, “The people of the country have understood very clearly that the politics that misguides by thinking 100 years back and 100 years ahead will not bring anything good for the country. The people want positive politics which will help to improve the present and give a clear blueprint about a bright future. We are committed to the needs and aspirations of young India.”
