Day and Time for Rakshabandhan
This year the festival of Rakshabandhan will be celebrated on 11th August 2022 on the day of Shravan Shukla Chaturdashi-Purnima. The special thing is that this year sisters will tie rakhi to their brothers during Pradosh period. Pradosh Period is indeed very special for this occasion.
Will not be celebrated on 12th August
According to the almanacs, the full moon will start from 10:39 am on Thursday, August 11, which will continue till 7:06 am the next day on August 12. Due to less than three Mahurat on 12th August, the festival of Rakshabandhan will be celebrated only on 11th August and Rakhi will be tied only during Pradosh period.
Best Mahurat for Rakshabandhan
According to Pandiji this time on Raksha Bandhan, Bhadra will remain from 10:39 am to 8:52 pm on August 11. According to the scriptures, Rakhi is not tied in Bhadra Mahurat, so sisters will be able to tie Rakhi to their brothers after 8:52 pm on 11th August. According to Mahurat Panditji for Rakshabandhan, this time the best time to tie Rakhi will be from 8:53 to 9:15 pm on 11th August. In this, along with the Pradosh period, the best Choghadiya will also be present.
