Raksha Bandhan 2022: The festival of Rakshabandhan is celebrated every year on the full moon day of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month. On this day sisters tie rakhi on the wrist of their brother and in return take a promise of their protection from him. There is a custom of tying Rakhi on brother’s wrist after seeing the auspicious time on Rakshabandhan. One should avoid tying Rakhi during Bhadrakal. This year Raksha Bandhan is falling on 11th August. Before the arrival of this festival of love and affection between brothers and sisters, some preparations should be started from now.
Start Posting Rakhi to Brother’s Staying Far away
If your brother lives far away and it is impossible for him to come home on Rakhi, then you need to start arrangements from now. You can also post Rakhi to your brother through speed post or parcel. Since post or parcel takes time, so you have to send Rakhi keeping in mind the date of Rakshabandhan. So that the brother gets the Rakhi at the right time and on Rakshabandhan his wrist does not remains empty.
