Preparations have begun to celebrate the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence. Every Indian is full of enthusiasm and gaiety on the celebration of Independence Day. The whole country waits throughout the year to watch the parade and other cultural programs on Republic Day.
But this year it will be the first time in 75 years that the Republic Day Parade will not start at the scheduled time of 10 am. Yes, this time with the COVID-19 Restrictions and paying tribute to the security personnel of Jammu and Kashmir. The Parade will start with a delay of 30 minutes.
The parade ceremony will be 90 minutes long like last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the National War Memorial near India Gate. Later, the teams will do march past. Cultural diversity, representing social and economic progress will be displayed during the tableau parade.
Restrictions will remain due to Covid-19, The official said that on the occasion of Republic Day the tableau will go up to the Red Fort and stop in the park for public display there, but the marching parties will stay at the National Stadium, due to restrictions related to Covid-19. At the same time, artists performing in cultural programs on Republic Day are not allowed to meet anyone.
The official said that in view of the increasing cases of coronavirus in the country, people participating in the ceremony will have to take special care of the rules pf Covid-19. All of them will travel in a sanitized vehicle and remain in isolation to avoid getting infected.
