By entering their mobile or Aadhaar number, and the captcha code, the registration number will be revealed. After this, one can click on the ‘Beneficiary Status’ and get their status by entering the registration number and captcha code. This simple yet important change will significantly streamline the process for farmers and save them valuable time.
Name Correction Facility – A Respite for Farmers
The portal has been revamped to allow farmers to correct discrepancies in their names. Such errors often prevent farmers from reaping the benefits of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Now, farmers can correct these mistakes themselves by clicking on ‘Name Correction as Per Aadhaar.’ By entering their registration number, captcha code, and name as per their Aadhaar card, they can easily rectify these issues.
PM Kisan Mobile App – Your Farming Ally on Your Smartphone
To provide easy and quick access to the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, the government has launched the PM Kisan Mobile App. This app, downloadable directly from the portal or Google Play Store, gives farmers the convenience of accessing their scheme details anytime, anywhere. After downloading, farmers can register on the app using their Aadhaar card.
The New ‘Farmers Corner’ – A One-stop Solution for Kisan Needs
To enhance user experience, the PM Kisan portal now includes a new feature, ‘Farmers Corner.’ If a farmer wishes to voluntarily withdraw from the PM Kisan benefits, they can use the ‘Voluntary Surrender of PM Kisan Benefits’ option. They only need to enter their registration number to proceed. This initiative empowers farmers with more control over their scheme benefits.
