Followers of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and other frontal Hindu organizations, including Sadhus, seers, volunteers will recite ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ eleven times on Tuesday to end the COVID-19 pandemic in India.
The entire event will take place in Kashi Prant comprising 26 eastern Uttar Pradesh districts.
According to Prachar Pramukh, RSS, Murar Ji Tripathi, “The recitation will start at 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday morning and apart from saints and seers, prominent personalities and professionals, industrialists, and social workers will be joining it.”
The step to hold the Chalisa in large number has been made through RSS’s Kutumb Prabodhan activity as most of the saints have the belief of ending the virus in this way.
Many families from districts like Prayagraj, Varanasi, Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Pratapgarh, Kaushambhi, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Sonbhadra, Sultanpur and Amethi will participate in the event.
This is also the first time that the Hanuman Chalisa’s recital is being held on such a mass scale. The consequence or the trolling of the event is the speculated topic for now.
