Unifying Beyond Caste and Creed
Sadhguru urges every Indian to rise above the divisions of caste, creed, and community, identifying instead as a unified nation. He highlights that our diversity, while a strength, has also been a source of division, hindering our progress. Moving beyond these divisions and fostering a sense of national unity is crucial, especially for the half-a-billion young people in India. The second challenge Sadhguru addresses is the pervasive issue of corruption, which he describes as having deeply penetrated the systemic vitals of the nation. He advocates for the widespread adoption of technology in all aspects of governance and daily transactions, from birth certificates to banking. By embracing technology, the scope for corruption can be significantly reduced, creating a cleaner, more dignified environment for every citizen. Sadhguru emphasizes that this transition should not only be a government initiative but also a collective effort from the people.
Remaining Vigilant Against External Threats
In addition, Sadhguru emphasises the need of being vigilant against terrorism and outside dangers while also serving as a reminder of India’s traumatic past of invasions and occupations. He advises avoiding holding grudges, arguing that these events should be used as a source of knowledge rather than as scars. India can create a future that respects the sacrifices made by prior generations while guaranteeing the security and well-being of its people by turning its painful past into a mature viewpoint.
