The event also marked the launch of a revolutionary mobile application named ‘Sankalan’ by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB). This app serves as a comprehensive guide to navigate through new criminal laws, ensuring accessibility even in remote areas through its offline mode.

Under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi

Under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, the newly Criminal Case Management System is set to revolutionize coordination among NIA personnel in terrorism and organized crime cases, thus enhancing the efficiency of justice delivery. The user-friendly CCMS software, designed as a stand-alone version, will facilitate state police forces in investigations and prosecutions.

During the launch, Shri Amit Shah emphasized the importance of leveraging the advanced software for conducting effective and prompt investigations and operations. He highlighted how the CCMS would streamline data management, including case documents, extracted data, collected evidence, and court-presented charge sheets, for state police forces.

The genesis of the CCMS dates back to the ‘Anti-Terror Conference’ in October 2023, where Shri Amit Shah advocated for such a digital platform to enhance collaboration among law enforcement agencies. He envisioned that this initiative would significantly improve conviction rates in sensitive and intricate cases nationwide.
