In Delhi’s famous Shraddha murder case, Shraddha’s father Vikas Walkar has made several allegations against the police. He said, had the Vasai police shown promptness, my daughter would have been alive today. During a press conference in Mumbai, he said that Delhi Police and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde have assured him of justice.
Vikas Walkar said during a conversation with the media that, I kept trying to talk to my daughter for the last two years, but she did not respond. I was never told what was happening with my daughter. He said, today we have to go through many problems because of the Vasai police.
Aftab should also get such punishment that
Shraddha’s father said, the way Aftab Poonawala has killed my daughter, he should be punished in the same way. He should be hanged. During this, he also demanded an inquiry into Aftab’s family, parents and relatives.
Aftab’s judicial custody extended for 14 days
Shraddha Walkar murder accused Aftab Amin Poonawalla joined the proceedings through video conferencing in Saket court on Friday. After the hearing, the court extended Aftab’s judicial custody for 14 days. Please tell, Aftab is currently lodged in Tihar Jail on charges of murder.
The police arrested the accused Poonawalla on November 12, following which he was sent to police custody for five days. The police custody was extended by five days on 17 November. On November 22, the court again sent accused Aftab Poonawalla to police custody for four days and then on November 26, sent him to jail for 13 days judicial custody.
