Shraddha Murder Autopsy Report: Saw Used To Chop Bones Into Pieces

Another revelation has come to light in the Shraddha murder case. Postmortem examination of Shraddha’s bones found in Mehrauli forests has been done. The postmortem report revealed that Shraddha’s body was cut with a sharp tool like a saw. Delhi Police has given this information on Saturday.

On January 4, the police said that samples of hair and bones recovered from a forest in south Delhi’s Mehrauli matched with Shraddha’s. Delhi Police said that a mitochondrial DNA report of the samples found in the Mehrauli forest area and has been sent for examination to the Center for DNA Fingerprinting Diagnostic (CDFD) in Hyderabad.

The recent developments in the case are considered very important as it will help the police to file a charge sheet against Aftab.

What was the matter?

According to the allegations, Aftab Poonawalla killed Shraddha Walker on May 18 after a quarrel in a rented flat in Mehrauli, Delhi. He cut Shraddha’s body into 35 pieces and later kept hiding them across the city for several days. Sources said saws and blades were allegedly used to cut the body.

This is how it was revealed

Shraddha’s murder came to light when her father took a complaint to the Maharashtra Police in October 2020. After not having any contact with Shraddha for several months, he contacted the police.

Shraddha and Aftab met each other on a dating app. Shraddha’s father had objection to this relationship because Aftab belonged to another religion. The couple stayed in Mumbai for a few days, later both came to Delhi last year and started living here in a rented flat.
