An AK-47, 60 cartridges, a hand grenade, 2 pistols and 50 cartridges of it have been recovered from Yamuna Ghat of Kalindi Kunj. A fake passport of his has been recovered from Turkman Gate. At present, his interrogation is going on.

At least three Lashkar-e-Taiba The Resistance Front terrorists were killed during an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday. Police said that weapons and ammunition along with incriminating material have also been recovered from them. One of them has been identified and the other is being traced.
The Shopian encounter started on Monday in Tulran in Imamsaheb area. One of the slain terrorists is Mukhtar Shah who was involved in the killing of Bihar hawker Virendra Paswan in Srinagar. On Monday evening, the security forces had received inputs that terrorists were hiding in Tulran, Shopian. After this, the army, CRPF and police started the operation by laying siege. Repeated appeals were made to the terrorists to surrender.
However, the terrorists ignored the security forces and started firing on them. All three terrorists were killed in the encounter. Ammunition and weapons have been found from the slain terrorists. At present, a search operation is going on in the area.
