The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) has released its manifesto and said that they will urge the Central government to withdraw the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) when they will come back in power.
AIADMK is the BJP’s alliance in Tamil Nadu but they have an upper hand in Tamil Nadu politics. In the last 5 years, the AIADMK-BJP led government has seen many ups and downs when it comes to the relation between the two parties.
The Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami has released aprty’s election manifesto which includes 160 promises from solar gas stoves to ration card holds, conferring citizenship to Sri Lankan Tamils living in camps.
The AIADMK has been the upper dictator of the alliance every time and many times they said that they don’t need BJP for the next election to win and after such a statement from the party there will be a lot of speculation on what will happen to their alliance post-elections.
