Telangana: In Telangana’s Karimnagar, youth Congress workers attacked Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA Rasamayi Balakishan’s convoy in protest of unfinished projects and the failure of programmes to be implemented. They demanded the building of a double road.

when did the incident occur?

On Sunday, while BRS’s Rasamayi Balakishan was visiting in Telangana’s Karimnagar district’s Ganneruvaram mandal’s Gundlapalli village, the incident occurred.
Chappals were used to attack the convoy of the BRS MLA. A double road’s completion as well as the completion of a few other promised but unfulfilled plans were demanded by the hundreds of Congress youth members who had assembled to stage a dharna on the route.

To disperse the mob, police had to resort to laticharge

Dr. Kavvampally Satyanarayana, president of the Karimnagar District Congress, extended his support for the protesting youth group leaders.
