Mukesh Goud’s son was transported to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad with serious injuries.
On July 28, numerous bullet wounds occurred. But everyone was caught off guard as the case took a surprising turn. In the Hyderabad neighbourhood of Film Nagar, Vikram’s home came under fire.
The Hyderabad Police solved the case yesterday by detaining five people who revealed the conspiracy. They are among the eight suspects, along with Goud, who is presently receiving medical attention at a hospital, and two other suspects who have fled the scene.
According to a senior police officer, the 35-year-old Youth Congress leader planned a “murder attempt” on him to garner the support of residents in the city constituency from which he intended to run for office. Goud also hoped to obtain the support of his relatives and family.
“It all started in April this year when Vikram Goud hatched the plan and told the accused that he wanted to
get a ticket for the next elections. He then asked them to procure a weapon and make an attempt on him to gain popularity as well as sympathy,” M Mahindar Reddy, the police commissioner in Hyderabad, said reporters.
According to Goud, he wanted the police to think that his political enemies were responsible for the crime.

Reddy claimed that the accused asked Goud for Rs 50 lakh in order to carry out his scheme.
The officer stated that Goud is in debt and that the amount of his indebtedness is being determined. Goud had invested a significant amount of money in mining in Odisha as well as other enterprises.
Goud also desired a permission to possess weapons and guards for his safety, according to the top cop.
“Although his wife was not an eyewitness to the conspiracy, she has only cited what her husband has said in the lawsuit even if she is unaware of the incident. Goud’s statement was recorded, and he admitted to everything the others (the arrested) had said ” the policeman stated.
He stated that whenever Goud is out from the hospital, we will arrest him.
