UK Visa: India’s demand for travel to the UK has increased, hence the UK has opted to reinstate its usual 15-day visa procedure. In a video message that began with the greeting “Namaste,” British High Commissioner to India Alex Ellis stated: “We are on track to get back to processing India to UK visa applications within our norm of 15 days.”

The demand for student visas has ncreased by 89% over the previous year
Ellis said that the processing of their visas had been hindered by Covid-19 and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. “We are moving again. The demand for student visas has experienced an unheard-of rise; it increased by 89% over the previous year. We are quickly ceasing to provide skilled labour visas in favour of guest visas.
He advised potential applicants to submit their visa applications three months in advance. He added that applications are sent to various centres under the priority and super priority services.
The number of student visas granted would shortly be boosted to break the record of 486,868 visa approvals set in June, a 215% rise, Ellis had earlier in August advised Indian students who wanted to study in the UK.
