Earlier when I prayed for him to be the Chief Minister of Gujarat and he became,” PM Modi’s Pakistani sister told ANI. “Whenever I tied the Rakhi, I used to express my desire for him to become the Prime Minister. PM Modi’s Sister Sends Rakhi by Mail Amidst COVID-19 Restrictions
Qamar was unable to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with PM Modi due of the Covid-19 epidemic, so instead, as reported by ANI, she sent him a rakhi by mail. The important occasion of Raksha Bandhan celebrates the unique bonds we have with our siblings. In accordance with custom, sisters tie a Rakhi around their brothers’ wrists to express their wishes for a happy and prosperous life. Brothers promise their constant care and support in return. Today’s fashions include brothers wrapping Rakhis around their sisters’ wrists, and the sisters returning the favour. The same promise of care and protection is conveyed by this action. Due to Bhadra Kaal, there is doubt this year over the Raksha Bandhan celebration date. Whether to celebrate the holiday on August 30 or August 31 is up for debate. The Raksha Bandhan event includes a variety of traditions. The sister leads her brother’s aarti on this special day and prays for his wellbeing. She then puts a tilak on his forehead, binds a Rakhi around his wrist, and gives him candy. Brothers show their sisters their affection by giving them presents or cash.
