New Delhi: Mahua Moitra, a member of the Trinamool Congress, was seen flaunting her football prowess while watching the 2022 Krishnanagar MP Cup Tournament final. The TMC MP shared two images of herself wearing a saree playing on the ground. Yes, she was kicking and chasing the ball while wearing a saree. Cool, right?
Two images were posted on Twitter by Mahua Moitra. One of them featured her donning a saree with hues of red and orange. She also wore athletic shoes and a pair of sunglasses. In the first image, Moitra is shown kicking the ball, while in the second, she is positioned as a goalkeeper.
“Fun moments from the final of the Krishnanagar MP Cup Tournament 2022. And yes, I play in saree,” the MP wrote. In the photos, the TMC MP is seen dressed in an orange-coloured saree with reddish borders, blue and white sneakers, and sunglasses. The first picture shows her kicking the ball, and the other shows her as a goalkeeper.

If you think that Mahua Moitra, a member of parliament, is playing football for the first time, you would be wrong. She was previously captured on camera participating in a football game during the Trinamool Congress’ Khela Hobe Dibas celebration.
