3. Indian Navy’s Landmark ASEAN foray: INS Sindhukesari becomes first Indian Submarine to dock in Indonesia
The 3000 tonne kilo class diesel electric submarine INS Sindhukesari has become the first Indian Submarine to dock in Jakarta. Analysts see the move as an attempt to strengthen bilateral relations as part of diplomatic-military outreach to ASEAN countries. |

4. DGCA Chief: There is an oversupply of pilots in country, as every third pilot coming out of pilot training school unable to get any job
DGCA Chief Arun Kumar has stated that there is an oversupply of pilots in the country. Further stated that for every three pilots who finish training in the country, there is one without a job with the Airlines, however he expressed optimism that ‘oversupply’ in the industry will be met in years to come as airlines grow their fleet. |

TMC MP Mahua Moitra has gone all guns blazing against the Centre over state run insurance giant LIC’s investment in the Adani Group. LIC has invested Rs 36,474.78 crore in seven Adani stocks. Till last month , its investment was in profit.
