Prosecutors from the anti-organized crime unit said in a statement after searching Mr. Tate’s and his brother Tristan’s properties in Bucharest that they would be held for 24 hours along with two Romanian suspects for their misogynistic remarks and hate speech. Mr. Tate and his brother Tristan have been banned from many social media platforms.

As a result, it is unlawful for financial institutions to enter into corporate alliances with edtech platforms like BYJU’s to enable such loans, according to Priyank Kanoongo, head of the National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR).
