Former Bureaucrats have once again written an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this letter, it has been urged to pay attention to the condition of Lakshadweep. Earlier, former officials had written an open letter to bring transparency in the PM Cares Fund. In their open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, 93 former civil services officers expressed “deep concern” over the recent developments in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep.
The letter, led by the Constitutional Practices Group (CCG), has urged the Prime Minister to ensure a proper development model for which residents are consulted, including security, better health care, education and good governance. Including other things.
It has been said in the letter that Lakshadweep occupies a different place in the map of India, full of cultural diversity. The three draft rules introduced by Administrator PK Patel were highlighted. The controversy has been going on since last year.
Congress’s Kerala and Lakshadweep in-charge Tariq Anwar termed the drafts prepared as fatal for the union territory. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should immediately intervene and remove Praful Patel from the post of administrator. Praful Patel is accused of arbitrarily preparing decisions without consulting local public representatives and people. The people there are opposing him because of the decision.
