Delhi News: On Sunday, May 9, late in the evening, Narendra Modi will take the oath of office as the nation’s prime minister for the third time, five days after the results of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 are declared. After Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the nation’s first prime minister, he will be the second leader to assume the oath of office three times in a row.

Honoring the Father of the Nation

Before taking the oath of office as prime minister, Narendra Modi will travel to Rajghat early in the morning to honor Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. He’s going to the War Memorial, too. Meanwhile, the Delhi Traffic Police has released a traffic alert in consideration of the Modi cabinet’s swearing-in ceremony. in order to prevent any form of disturbance.

In light of the swearing-in ceremony, Delhi Police has stated in the traffic advisory that special traffic arrangements will be in place near Rashtrapati Bhavan on June 9 from 2 pm to 11 pm. The Delhi community has been urged to heed the police’s advice. Reading the advice before leaving the house would be preferable.

Airspace Restrictions on Swearing-In Day

Due to the new government’s swearing-in ceremony in Delhi, Sunday’s airspace will be totally closed from 3 p.m. to 11p.m. Scheduled flights operated by scheduled operators will not be subject to these restrictions. The Indian Air Force, the Army, and the Border Security Force will all continue to operate helicopters unaffected by the prohibition. During this time, the governor or chief minister may fly with government planes and helicopters. Aircraft that are chartered or on non-scheduled flights are not permitted to take off or land.

Coalition Government Formation at the Center

This time, unlike in 2014 and 2019, the NDA coalition government is forming at the center rather than from the center. PM Narendra Modi will be heading a coalition administration for the first time. With the exception of Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, party president JP Nadda has completed the BJP and allies’ cabinet sharing before to the swearing-in.

Senior BJP officials have also discussed representation in the coalition government with leaders of the TDP, JDU, Bihar chief Nitish Kumar, Maharashtra chief Eknath Shinde, head of the Shiv Sena Shinde faction, and other allies.
