Russia is using rape and other forms of sexual violence in Ukraine

According to Pramila Patten, the UN Special Representative on Sexual Violence in Conflict, Russia is using rape and other forms of sexual violence in Ukraine as part of its “military strategy.” Data from a team of UN specialists that validated “more than a hundred cases” of rape or sexual assault occurrences reported in Ukraine since February was made public before the claim was made.
