Umesh Pal murder case: ‘Bulldozer action’ at Atiq Ahmed’s aide’s house

Umesh Pal murder case: Almost a week after the murder of Umesh Pal, the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh enforced ‘bulldozer action’ at Atiq Ahmed’s aide’s house. Umesh Pal, who was a witness in the 2005 murder of the then BSP MLA Raju Pal, was killed last Tuesday. Atid Ahmed is a key conspirator in the Umesh Pal murder case, the UP Police have reported.

‘Bulldozer action’ in Uttar Pradesh

On Wednesday, the Prayagraj Development Authority, began demolishing the house of Umesh Pal murder accused Atiq Ahmed’s aide. Located in Chakia, the house belongs to Khalid Zafar. The property being demolished has been issued a notice in the past for being constructed illegally. Worth Rs 2.5 crore, the house is an posh locality. The demolition of the house was conducted in the presence of Prayagraj Police. The action comes days after UP CM Yogi Adityanath’s ‘sabko mitti mein mile dene’ jibe at Samajwadi Party.

Umesh Pal murder case

Umesh Pal, who was a close friend of deceased Raju Pal, was killed outside his residence in Prayagaraj on February 24. He was accompanied by one of his two bodyguards when a man shot him down. 

Jailed former Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Atiq Ahmed has been identified as the key accused in Raju Pal death case and has now emerged as the key conspirator in the Umesh Pal murder case.  The police has revealed that he hatched the conspiracy to kill Umesh Pal from inside Gujarat’s Sabarmati jail where he is currently lodged.
