The body of Wing Commander Harshit Sinha was brought to Lucknow on Sunday morning. His body was taken from Kaveri Apartment in Gomtinagar Extension to Baikunthdham.
He was cremated with full state honors at Baikunthdham.
Air Force fighter plane had crashed in Jaisalmer on Friday night, whose pilot Harshit Sinha was killed in the accident.
The accident took place in Sam police station area. Sam police station SHO Dalpat Singh said that the plane had crashed in Sand Dunes near Sudasari.

According to the information, Wing Commander Harshit, a resident of Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, had joined the Air Force in the year 1999. He lived with the family first in the metropolitan area of the city and then in Aliganj by taking a rented room.
Harshit had studied from CMS School in Lucknow. Now he has left behind his wife Priyanka and two daughters. Along with this, his father Hemant Kumar Sinha and siblings Mohit and Swati are originally residents of Ayodhya.
It is being told that Wing Commander Harshit Sinha was a batchmate of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman. Both completed their training together and also worked together in many camps. At present, Harshit was posted in Srinagar. Before this, he has given his service in many places. Like- Ambala, Bhuj, Jammu and Kashmir and Suratgarh.
